Panther Mountain is a Cultural Ecology.

Music as medicine. Sound as Ceremony.
Earth-aligned.
We uplift Indigenous-rooted voices and Earth-honoring music.
Each release is an act of cultural regeneration and creative kinship.

Panther Mountain is an Indigenous centered nonprofit music label and cultural restoration project based in the Catskills and founded by musician and cultural worker Matthew O’Neill. We work at the intersection of music, ritual, education, and ecological awareness to revitalize Indigenous ways of listening and reclaim sound as a living, relational practice. Through original releases, field recordings, immersive sound, and interdisciplinary collaborations, Panther Mountain uplifts ancestral memory, supports community healing, and amplifies Earth-honoring creative voices. Our work offers innovative pathways for cultural continuity, resilience, and collective transformation.

Panther Mountain exists to steward sound as a sacred force—revitalizing Indigenous musical ontologies, nurturing ecological kinship, and guiding listeners into deeper relation with Mother Earth and the unseen. Through music, art, ritual, and cultural restoration, we seek to remember our place in the web of life and to co-create innovatively.
